It's amazing how the earth can provide the most beautiful inspirations for any artist. For thousands of years the Earth's elements have provided visual resources and materials needed to create new art forms. Many painters,sculptors and architects have combined their imagination and surroundings to create masterpieces that are forever memorable.
The picture above was my inspiration to create a series of pendants made from pigmented clay, diverse art mediums and beading. I believe every human has an ability to create art. In the old world,the use of clay,stone and wood was the common supply used to make jewelry,clothing and home decor. So next time you think you cant afford any art supplies, look around you and see what nature has to offer.
